i realized today that i was mistakenly calling the ultimate state of existance nothingness. it is freedom actually. the fact that entering nothingness sets ones priorities about everything else drop drasticaly seemed to me like neglecting those priorities entirely. thus the appearance of a state of nothingness. but now i understand that the connection with the cosmic energies frees one from everything. it seems that evolution is not the real goal of a species, but understanding the cosmic universe, god if you will, and thus becoming one with it is.
