Where is the magic?

It feels good to have sex because that's the genetic mutation that facilitated reproduction more so that with the species for which it was less so. This one example show how clinical life is. The magic then it seem is not in biology, where once reproducing single cell organisms emerged, things got set in motion to ultimately create me, but in chemistry! How does chemistry turn into biology? Why do those chemical elements fit together in such a way?
